- Mae Khaghan hot springs
Mae Khachan Hot Spring is one of the few natural hot springs in northern Thailand. Its temperature reaches 194˚F (90˚C), which is hot enough to boil eggs in just a few minutes, a favorite activity among locals. Not only can you boil eggs in just 15 minutes and eat them right away, you can also soak your feet in the small pool.
- Singha Park
Singha Park Chiang Rai is considered a landmark that you must stop by to check in and take beautiful photos if you come to Chiang Rai. Especially the giant golden lion at the entrance, we must not miss stopping to take photos first! This is an agricultural tourist attraction and the largest tea plantation in Thailand. Inside, there are activities, taking photos and some flowers and beautiful scenery.
- White Temple
White Temple or Wat Rong Khun This temple was designed and built by Ajarn Chalermchai to be like heaven on earth, heaven on earth that humans can touch. The main temple and other buildings, which are white and decorated with white glass, take about 1.5 hours to walk around inside and other photos.
- Blue Temple
Blue Temple or Wat Rong Suea Ten is a beautiful and unique temple that is memorable because it uses blue and gold tones. Inside the temple, there is a large and beautiful Buddha statue. In front of the temple, there are two large “nagas” standing together. They are beautiful and different from the white temples in different styles. Tourists know it all over the place and it is also popular to visit.
- Huai Pla Kang temple
Huai Plakang Temple has a large Guan Yin statue and a 9-storey pagoda with contemporary architecture. The exterior is built in layers. The ordination hall is made of white cement. The entrance is a Naga staircase, and the stucco patterns throughout the entire structure are dazzling. Inside is a white principal Buddha image, the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, the largest Buddha image in Thailand, approximately 79 meters high, located on a hill. It looks outstandingly elegant. Inside the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, you can take an elevator to see Huai Plakang Temple from a high angle.can see villages around there.
- Black House Museum
Black House Museum it more than 25 northern local architectural buildings and several applied local architectural buildings that display folk art, which is the creative work of local craftsmen from the past to the present. All are painted black. Each building is decorated with beautifully carved wood. On display are large crocodile skins, snake skins, and various animal horns. The Black House Museum is an art place that creates imagination for viewers from many perspectives. It also houses a collection of items used in life in the past.
- Chuifong Tea Plantation
Choui Fong Tea Plantation is a famous tea plantation in Chiang Rai. It covers an area of over 1.6 square kilometers. Tea is planted in a curve along the hillside. The atmosphere is nice. It is a tourist attraction and has restaurants, bakery, and beverage services. Interesting food items include tuna salad, Yunnan spaghetti, soft tea leaf mantou, green tea, iced tea, green tea cake, and chocolate cake. Tourists can stop by to take pictures and walk around to see the beauty of the tea plantation.
- Mae Sai market
Mae Sai Market is another important place that tourists should not miss. It is a famous border market for a long time because Burmese people and ethnic minorities come to shop for various consumer goods from the Thai side. Tourists who travel here can walk across to Tachileik, Burma by making a border pass first, or rent a car to drive around in a group, which is another charm. Mae Sai Market sells a variety of products, electrical appliances, fashion clothes for both children and adults, various accessories, shoes, bags, sweaters, dried seafood, and many children's toys to please serious shoppers in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province.
- Golden Triangle
The Golden Triangle is a border area between Thailand, Laos and Burma, where the Ruak and Mekong rivers meet. The term “Golden Triangle” was coined by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and is commonly used to refer to the approximately 950,000 square kilometers of overlapping land between the three countries.
