Mae Khachan Hot Spring is one of the few natural hot springs in northern Thailand. Its temperature reaches 194˚F (90˚C), which is hot enough to boil eggs in just a few minutes, a favorite activity among locals. Not only can you boil eggs in just 15 minutes and eat them right away, you can also soak your feet in the small pool.
Singha Park Chiang Rai is considered a landmark that you must stop by to check in and take beautiful photos if you come to Chiang Rai. Especially the giant golden lion at the entrance, we must not miss stopping to take photos first! This is an agricultural tourist attraction and the largest tea plantation in Thailand. Huai Plakang Temple has a large Guan Yin statue and a 9-storey pagoda with contemporary architecture. The exterior is built in layers. The ordination hall is made of white cement. Inside is a white principal Buddha image, the Bodhisattva Guan Yin, the largest Buddha image in Thailand, approximately 79 meters high, located on a hill. It looks outstandingly elegant. Black House Museum it more than 25 northern local architectural buildings and several applied local architectural buildings that display folk art, which is the creative work of local craftsmen from the past to the present. All are painted black. Each building is decorated with beautifully carved wood. On display are large crocodile skins, snake skins, and various animal horns. The Black House Museum is an art place that creates imagination for viewers from many perspectives. It also houses a collection of items used in life in the past.
Choui Fong Tea Plantation is a famous tea plantation in Chiang Rai. It covers an area of over 1.6 square kilometers. Tea is planted in a curve along the hillside. The atmosphere is nice. It is a tourist attraction and has restaurants, bakery, and beverage services. Interesting food items include tuna salad, Yunnan spaghetti, soft tea leaf mantou, green tea, iced tea, green tea cake, and chocolate cake. Tourists can stop by to take pictures and walk around to see the beauty of the tea plantation.
Long Neck Karen are not Thai people. They are all from the Hmong and Burmese tribes, tribes that live in the high mountains. They are called Long-necked Karen because the women in this tribe wear brass rings around their necks. It is a long-held tradition. Long-necked Karen are not Thai people.
